Larson Electronics was started by Ernie Larson in 1967. For over 40 years, Larson Electronics has built quality lighting products for the cable, telephone and electric utility industry. Using the Larson Electronics website and now Facebook, we reach new customers in various industries, including utilities, construction and towing. Larson Electronics also services federal, state and local governments throughout the United States and Europe as well as the US Secret Service, US State Department and Department of Homeland Security. We also provide products to all branches of the US military, both domestically and internationally.
At Larson Electronics’ our business philosophy is very simple; provide high quality lighting products at good prices and get them to the customer fast. We support our customers before, during, and after the sale and maintain a wide inventory of parts and accessories allowing us to service the products we sell.

The Larson Electronics EXPFL-31 explosion proof halogen flashlight is approved Class I, Division 1, Group C & D and waterproof/submersible to 100'.
This compact halogen flashlight is approved for hazardous locationsClass I, Division 1, Group C & D, and waterproof to 100 feet. A Polypropylene body, ABS reflector, and unbreakable Tuflexx lens provides the durability and strength needed for work and industrial applications. This light is powered by 2 standard AA batteries and produces a 15,000 candlepower beam with a single Halogen bulb. An integral circuit breaking mechanism provides added HAZLOC protection.
This explosion proof halogen flashlight is an affordable light solution for operators who desire a portable and reliable light source that can be easily carried and operated within hazardous locations. Weighing only 3 ounces and only 6.5 inches in length, this explosion proof flashlight is easily carried in a pocket or tool pouch and wont take up a lot of room. A built in key ring provides versatile carrying and hanging options, and an anti-roll tube design helps to keep the light in place when set down on uneven surfaces. A simple push button on the tail end of the unit and a twist lens housing provides simple on and off operation. This explosion proof flashlight is United States UL and Canadian CSA standards approved and an affordable portable lighting solution that doesn't sacrifice durability.
